Use

You may use Aviana for personal, non-commercial purposes. No account is required. Aviana is not a substitute for professional sleep, medical, or psychological care. If a sleep disorder is interfering with your life, please speak with a clinician.

Acceptable use

Don't use the custom-affirmation generator for content that violates our content policy (self-harm, sexual, violent, hateful). Aviana runs a moderation check before generation and will refuse those prompts with a polite redirect to calmer themes.

No warranty

Aviana is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The sounds, adaptive layer, and smart alarm are designed for relaxation and sleep support, not for clinical treatment. Aviana does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Data & privacy

Aviana works without an account, and your health readings stay on your device by default. We only receive them if you turn on research sharing, which is off until you choose to enable it.

When you opt in, Aviana collects de-identified sleep readings (heart rate, breathing rate, and inferred sleep stage) keyed to a random identifier with no name or email attached. We use them to research what actually improves sleep and to make the app better. This data is never sold, is kept for about 90 days, and you can turn sharing off any time in Settings, which stops all sending. See Privacy for the full detail.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves (e.g. when a paid tier is introduced). Material changes will be announced in-app.
